Celestial Rug
Together with the VIP Centre at Schiphol, Amsterdam, and in collaboration with the interior designer Coretta Creations, The Wool Studio we created two hand-tufted rugs for the interior space. It blends contemporary design with a deep respect for material and handcraft.
Inspired by star constellations, the rug design tells a story that reaches beyond the zodiac: a cartography of connection, movement & time.
Colour & Material
Selected colour shades of blue & yellow harmonize with the interior space. The melange yarns capture the ethereal character of the starry sky. Expertly executed using the hand and robo tufting technique.
